National Weather Service API active alerts, filtered to Tornado Warning/Watch, Hurricane Warning, Tropical Storm Warning, Extreme Wind Warning, and Storm Surge Warning. Polygons from alert geometry; Tornado Watch may fall back to zone geometry via affectedZones. Public domain / U.S. government work.
